Students at Alderson Elementary practiced watercolor for the first time on coloring sheets of R2-D2 and C-3PO. They learned wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and splatter techniques. This is a quick and easy lesson that can be used on any coloring sheets. Just make sure the students do not use too much water! Printer paper will tear if it is over saturated. I suggest having lots of paper towels on hand to either put underneath the artworks or use to dab/soak up extra water. May the force be with you!
