Students from Irons Middles School learned about Georgia O'Keeffe by studying her work which combines animal bones, flowers, and landscape. They read one of many letters that O'Keeffe had written in response to an art critic, practiced writing their own letter to a friend, set up still-lifes, took photos, made sketches, and completed finished works with chalk pastels.
